The journey
A fast and flat ride to Sa Huyen passing through towns which are not very exciting but have places to eat and drink. It's a bit rolling towards the end. There was a fairly strong northerly all day - good cycling weather because there was high light cloud and it wasn't too hot. As well as the Sa Huyn hotel there are two guesthouses and one other hotel. We carried on to Tam Quan which has two hotels and at least two guesthouses. Food and internet access are extremely cheap in Tam Quan but there's not much else going on. In retrospect, it would be better to continue to Bong Son which is a bigger town with more hotels and even com chay.
The room
Thien Trang HotelÐ120,000 for double room, bathroom with hot water, TV (no movies and shoddy broken aerial).
Hotel empty; a noisy TV downstairs and trucks on the highway. Not recommended.
