We made it! From the 31st of May to the 20th of June, Mat, Kat and Ben cycled from John O'Groats at the northern edge of Scotland down to Land's End at the southern tip of England. The total distance was 1012 miles. The map on the left hand side shows where we stopped at the end of each day and the number in brackets is the number of miles cycled that day. Each place name is a link to a bit of information about where we stayed that day and daily reports from the road. We eventually raised over £2200 for Motor Neurone Disease, a terminal illness that Mat's uncle John had. The MNDA wrote us a thankyou letter when we sent them the money. |
