This is from the original Cranks recipe book. You can liberally substitute ingredients and change quantities.
1lb porridge oats
2oz sunflower seeds
4oz chopped mixed nuts
4oz wheatgerm
3oz dessicated coconut
1oz sesame seeds
4oz brown sugar/ honey
¼pt water
¼pt oil
½tsp vanilla essence
Combine the first 7 ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Whisk together the water, oil and vanilla then stir in the dry ingredients and mix well. Spread the cereal over the base of a large, shallow, roasting tin and bake in the oven at 375°F for 20-30 minutes, turning occasionally until crisp and golden. Leave to cool. Store in an airtight container.
